We’re incredibly proud to share our Impact Report 2025, which captures the last year of work at GMIAU.
This report shares what we’ve achieved through our free, specialist immigration legal advice and representation, and includes the voices of people who have used our services, sharing the difference this support has made in their lives. It tells the story of what it has taken to stand alongside people navigating the UK’s immigration and asylum systems during a period of profound upheaval and hostility, and what can be achieved when legal expertise, community organising and lived experience come together.
The report reflects the reality we’ve been working within: shifting policies, rising racism, deepening inequality, and systems that too often leave people unsafe or unsupported. It also captures the strength and determination of the people and communities we work with every day, and the unwavering commitment of our staff, who remain grounded in their purpose and values even when the environment around us is chaotic and challenging.
